23K for new oil burner/boiler/ furnace installation

<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>My folks furnace went out and they need a new one. The service guy quoted me 23K. I wanted to pick him up and throw him out the house uncle phil style. I know this is not a cheap job by any stretch (just my luck), but 23K? Is this reasonable or bs like I originally think? This is a small 1 zone house.</p> <p>Also I've been calling it a furnace for decades, and the service people keep correcting me to boiler.
