Any homeowners insurance recommendations for north shore Suffolk?

<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>I’m in contract on a home in Suffolk and it’s proving difficult to find homeowners insurance? State Farm says they don’t even offer policies to the area, and the quotes we have received are like $4,000+ yearly premiums. That seems insane?! It’s not far from the north shore beaches but it’s elevated land, not in a flood zone, with 0 prior history of flooding. The roof is a little older but still functional which I’m sure is the case for a lot of homes on the market in that area.
