Bicycle on Peak Train Enforcement

<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>EDIT: To make this clearer, I need to head West to Patchogue (where the bike shop is) first, then coming home back East. If I can not bring my bike on, I would have to take the train back the next day to go and pick it up. The fact that there are zero trains for several hours in the middle of the day is a pain in the ass! </p> <p>Original Post: I know bikes are not allowed on the train during Peak times, but how enforced is this if I am going from Patchogue to Mastic-Shirley? The Montauk line has some crap hours, and I want to take my bike to get fixed up, but the only non-peak time that I can take the train is Eastbound at 1:03pm. This is fine to get there, but coming back the only off-peak same day is 2:01pm. This is not enough time for my bike to be finished same-day.</p> <p>So how strict is bringing bike on at peak enforced?
