What to expect
A Farmingdale-village licensed retailer hosts a grand-opening block celebration on a private lot behind Main Street. A DJ, a budtender meet-and-greet, a food truck, and raffle drawings for NY-brand merchandise. 21+ only, OCM QR code verification at the door, no on-premises consumption. Licensed-retailer-only event under the Suffolk County CAURD circuit.
The rule, plainly
Adults 21 and over may possess up to three ounces of flower and 24 grams of concentrate, bought from a licensed shop. New York state law prohibits cannabis consumption on state-owned land and in public spaces. What it means for your evening: buy sealed from a licensed shop, keep it closed in the car, and consume only where the venue allows; rentals set their own house rules, so ask before you book.Checked Sep 2026 · Source: OCM
