Homeowners Insurance in Freeport - Is $1,900 the best I can do?

<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>Hi everyone, </p> <p>I’m currently paying $1,900/year for home insurance through Geico/Homesite and I’m trying to see if that’s actually a good rate for the Freeport area right now.</p> <p>I checked with PolicyGenius, but they told me their providers aren't even writing new policies in Freeport due to the history of claims in the area.
