Long Island Museum — Gaming & Technology Exhibitions
Three concurrent interactive exhibitions at the 9-acre Smithsonian Affiliate: '50 Years of Apple Computers: The Kevin Lenane Collection' (one of the most complete Apple collections in the U.S., including the 1976 Apple-1, Apple Lisa, and early iMacs), 'Video Games: The Great Connector' (10 interactive gaming stations, created by Harlem Gallery of Science), and 'LI Gamers' (highlights LI's gaming history including 'Tennis for Two,' created in 1958 at Brookhaven National Laboratory — widely considered one of the earliest video games ever made). Campus also houses 40,000 sq ft Carriage Museum, historic schoolhouse and barn.
