<div class="md"><p>I just got a lightweight canoe and I'm planning to use it both upstate in the ADK to Canoe/fish w/ my dog but also I want to use it on the island as well. Does anyone know any good places to paddle with a canoe and dog? Like can I technically paddle the carmans river up into the Wildlife refuge if the dog is on the canoe and not on land? I'm also aware of the Nissequogue and the Peconic.
