Southold is the North Fork's deepest-rooted town, settled in 1640 and still running at a historical-village pace. The licensed dispensary footprint is modest across the fork, so the cannabis rhythm here tends to be the edible-with-dinner or pre-porch-sunset kind rather than anything retail-driven. Adults 21+ treat it as a base for working the vineyards and oyster farms east from here.
