Long Island Cannabis Club in Deer Park is one of five licensed dispensaries open in the Town of Babylon as of 2026, and the town is the reason western Suffolk has any shops at all. Deer Park, East Farmingdale and West Babylon hold the cluster, a short drive from the Nassau line, where no licensed dispensary operates. For adults 21+ searching for the Deer Park shop, here is the address, the posted hours, the other licensed shops nearby and how the town ended up with them.

A note on the name: the shop shares its name with this publication. The two are separate; the shop is a licensed retailer, and this site is a guide.

Long Island Cannabis Club, the details

  • Address: 94 East Industry Court, Deer Park, NY 11729.
  • Licensed: It holds an adult-use conditional retail dispensary license and appears as active in the Office of Cannabis Management's license data as of 2026.
  • Open since: November 27, 2024, by the state's records.
  • Hours: Its own site lists 9 AM to 9 PM Monday through Saturday and 10 AM to 8 PM on Sunday. The hours registered with the state differ slightly, opening at 9:30 AM and running later on Friday and Saturday, so check the shop's site on the day.
  • Delivery: The shop delivers, and its site lists communities including Deer Park, East Islip, Commack, Sayville, Bohemia, Patchogue, Cold Spring Harbor, Central Islip, Brentwood and Bellmore.

Deer Park itself is a hamlet of about 28,800 people at the 2020 census, in the northeast corner of the Town of Babylon.

Why the Town of Babylon has shops

When New York legalized adult-use cannabis, towns had until the end of 2021 to opt out of dispensaries. Most of Long Island did. The Town of Babylon didn't, and not by enthusiasm: a resolution to schedule the required public hearing failed on a split board, the deadline passed, and the town was opted in by default. It is one of only four Long Island towns that allowed retail, with Brookhaven, Riverhead and Southampton.

The villages inside the town made their own choices. Lindenhurst adopted an opt-out law in December 2021, Amityville voters reaffirmed their village's opt-out, and the Village of Babylon moved to opt out the same fall. The licensed shops sit in the unincorporated hamlets instead.

Across the county line the map goes blank. Nassau County has no licensed dispensary, so the Babylon cluster is the nearest storefront option for many Nassau residents.

The other licensed shops in the Town of Babylon

Every shop below appears as an active licensed adult-use retailer in OCM's license data as of 2026.

Planet Nugg, 2043 Wellwood Avenue

In East Farmingdale under a Farmingdale mailing address, open since June 2024. Its site lists 9 AM to 9 PM Monday through Saturday and 10 AM to 8 PM on Sunday, with pickup, curbside and delivery options.

Strain Stars, 1815 Broadhollow Road

On Route 110 in East Farmingdale, open since July 2023, which makes it the earliest-opening shop on Long Island in the state's records. It bills itself as Long Island's first legal recreational dispensary. Its site lists 9 AM to 9 PM Monday through Saturday and 10 AM to 8 PM on Sunday. Delivery covers Nassau and Suffolk, excluding the Hamptons and Fire Island, with a $125 minimum before tax, and the ID at the door must match the name on the order.

Happy Days Dispensary, 105 Route 109

Also in East Farmingdale, open since December 2023. It advertises free same-day delivery across Long Island. The state's records list 10 AM to 9 PM Monday through Saturday and 10 AM to 7 PM on Sunday.

The High Life, 1300 Wellwood Avenue

In West Babylon, the newest of the group, open since May 2026, with registered hours of 9 AM to 7 PM daily.

The state's data also shows several more licensed locations in Deer Park, West Babylon and East Farmingdale that were not yet operating as of 2026, so the cluster is likely to grow. The Babylon and Farmingdale hubs cover the area, and the dispensary directory has the current list.

At the counter

  • Adults 21+ only. Bring a valid photo ID: a driver's license, a non-driver ID, a passport from any country or a U.S. military ID. Staff check it before any sale.
  • Daily limits. Up to three ounces of flower and 24 grams of concentrated cannabis, a category that includes vapes and edibles.
  • Edibles. Start low, go slow. Labels list milligrams per piece.
  • Verify, every time. Verify licensed status via the OCM QR code at cannabis.ny.gov: every licensed dispensary must post the state's Dispensary Verification Tool near its main entrance, and OCM's retailer finder at buylegal.cannabis.ny.gov lists every licensed shop. A Route 110 address says nothing about a license.

Delivery, by the state's rules

Delivery from the Babylon shops reaches well into Nassau, since the 2021 opt-outs blocked storefronts, not delivery. Licensed delivery is prepaid, with no cash at the door; an ID check and a signature are required; orders go only to homes, short-term stays and private businesses; and drivers deliver only during store hours.

Getting there, and the public-space rule

The Babylon shops sit in industrial and commercial strips, and almost everyone arrives by car. Driving while high is illegal in New York, and cannabis can't be consumed in a motor vehicle. Parking lots and sidewalks count as public space: New York state law prohibits cannabis consumption on state-owned land and in public spaces, which also covers Bethpage State Park nearby.
